To held examination, grant certificates, degrees, other diplomas, citation of distinction in recognition of proficiency in general practice.
To organize and arrange seminars, workshop, clinical meeting and to discuss medical .
The College conducts the examination for Fellowship (FCGP) in Family medicine consisting of following subjects.

N. T. (i) Ophthalmology (j) Radiology (k) Clinical pathology (l) Psychiatry (m) Dermatology & STD (n) Oncology (o) Anesthesiology (p) Forensic medicine (q) MCH & Family planning ® Gariatrics (s) Nutrition.
SCHEDULE FOR THE REGULAR FCGP COURSE :
Advertisement : 1st Week of April.
Class Started : Every year 1st week of September
Weekly Class : Friday lecture class & Saturday hospital duty & lecture
Class our : 9 a.m. to 12 P.m. & 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Class End : Last week of May
Subject distribution : 2nd weed of September
Submission : 1st week of April
Assessment test : November, January & April
Examination : 1st working day of June
Admission Criteria’s :
01. Must have practice in the field of Family medicine for not less than 2 years.
02. Must be a life of BPMPA
03. Must be registered with the BMDC.
04. Must pay the course fee.
05. Photostat copy of M.B.B.S Certificate duly attested.
06. Photostat copy of BMDC Registration certificate duly attested.
07. Three copies of passport size photographs duly attested by Fellow of the College or Member of BPMPA.

EXAMINATIONS CRITERIA :
01. Three copies of Dissertation must be submitted.
02. Must pay Examination fee along with there course fee. Or within 1st week of April.
DISTRIBUTION OF MARKS :
Paper-1 100 marks
Paper-11 100 marks
Dissertation – OSCE/OSPE, 100 marks
Oral & Clinicalx
Each candidate should submit their dissertation in triplicate on or before 1st week of April. Dissertation shall ordinarily be of at least 80 pages not less than 21 lines in each page. It should be typed written with double spacing. Dissertation should include at least 10 illustrative case notes on the topic. The Censor board will decide the topic and the guide under whom the work of the dissertation will be carried on. At least 60% marks should be obtained to qualify.
OLD QUESTION PAPERS :
Question papers of previous years for FCGP can be obtained from the College on payment of TK. 500/- (Five hundred) Enquiries should be made of the Secretary of the College.
TRANSCRIPT CERTIFICATE FEE :
Must pay transcript certificate fee TK-1000/-
CME PROGRAMME :
Monthly CME Programme 1st week of Friday, throughout the year.
The College has library in its premises which contains upto date books and journals. It remains open on all week day except Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Library and its attached reading rooms can be used by any interested person. No. fees are charged, At present borrowing facilities are not available.
OFFICE HOURS OF THE COLLEGE:
The office hours of the college is from 8 am to 12 noon & 3pm to 5pm on all week days except Sunday. The office remains closed on Sunday.
